Parts diagram for reference.

Make sure the SKS is unloaded and the safety is on

Remove trigger group by depressing the tab indicated by the white line

Complete trigger assembly.

WARNING - Control the hammer or risk a very sore finger

Uncock the hammer by disengaging the safety then pulling back on the trigger and pushing down
on the disconnector, control the hammer as it springs forward

Depress the mag cover latch (35) and remove the latch stop pin (38) This will allow you to remove
the magazine cover latch (35), latch / sear spring (36), and sear (37).

Compress the hammer spring ( 54) by hand, this will take some effort, and lift out the hammer (51)
and hammer strut (53) as a unit. (you can now remove the trigger spring as well)

Raise the disconnector (49) and remove the rebound disconnector (50) by squeezing it together to
separate it from the trigger guard (39) and lifting it out.

Using a 3/32 punch (or maybe a rusty nail... if you've had a recent tetanus shot) remove the disconnector
hinge pin (40) and lift out the disconnector (49).

Use the 3/32 punch to remove the trigger pin (41) and lift out the trigger (44), trigger bar (46),
 and safety catch spring.

With the  3/32 punch remove the trigger bar pin (47) to separate the trigger (44), trigger bar (46),
and safety catch spring.

Finally, use the 3/32 punch to remove the safety catch pin (45) and remove the safety catch (42).
